Ireland Dependent Visa

The dependent visa Ireland Permit allows certain family members of Irish work visa holders to remain and work in Ireland. These family members include the spouse and partners of Irish work permit holders.

The following is a list of the documents that you need to provide in order to apply for a Ireland dependant visa:

• The application form summary has been signed and dated.
• Two photographs at passport size, following Ireland's photograph standards.
• Your original passport.
• Complete copies of any previous passports, if any have been issued.
• An application letter that includes the following:

• Include every pertinent fact and detail about yourself.
• Include details about your family member who is currently living in Ireland.
• Include information about any more members of your family who live in Ireland or anywhere else in the EU. Offer an explanation or reason why it's important for you to go to Ireland.

• Evidence that your relative or family is eligible to sponsor you:

• For a minute, imagine that a member of your family is an Irish national. In that case, you must provide a copy of their Irish passport and any other documentation proving their status.

• If you or a member of your immediate family is not a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) resident, follow these steps:

• A copy of every section of their passport, including that of the page with their photograph
• A copy of the document proving their registration.
• A copy of their work permit or any other documentation that attests to their authorization to remain in Ireland, including any visas they may have.

• Evidence of your familial ties:
• For spouses:
• Wedding or civil partnership certificate
• If you and your spouse haven't lived together since you got married, you'll need to show proof of your relationship, like visas, pictures, letters, etc.
• For children below 18 Years of age:

• Certificate of birth or adoption paperwork.
• Custody documents should be submitted if the sponsor has custody of a child.
• In circumstances of joint custody, the other parent's assent is necessary.
• For De Facto partners (relationship):

• Proof of your connection, such as a partnership registration certificate (if applicable), proof of joint ownership or tenancy, correspondence proving you shared the same residence, etc.
• Evidence of your past relationships, such as visas, photographs, correspondence, etc.

• Proof of adequate financial resources:

• Copies of your most recent six months' worth of bank statements and those of your sponsor.
• Payslips from the three most recent pay periods. Provide evidence that your sponsor satisfies the standards for the minimal amount of income:

• A copy of the P60 form, a certificate of annual wage, and deductions for your employment for the last two years, and only include data for one year if your sponsor has only been in Ireland for that time.
• A job contract that is effective for at least a year from the date of application and includes the sponsor's remuneration.
• If your sponsor is self-employed, you will need to get Notices of Assessment of Income.
• Suppose your sponsor can apply to take you to Ireland right away. In that case, you must provide evidence of their wages, such as an employment contract that shows their yearly income or another kind of financial documentation.

• If relevant, evidence that you are reliant on your sponsor, including:

• The quantity and frequency of their financial assistance, such as bank transfers.
• Proof that you cannot provide for yourself or are ineligible for state aid.

• Proof of income, if applicable.
• Proof of your living expenses, including rent, utilities, food, medical, education, and other charges.
• Proof of a medical condition that makes you dependent on your sponsor.
• Health coverage. You don't need travel medical insurance or coverage to apply for an Ireland visa. However, you must submit it to the immigration agents at Border Control in person.
